FAQs

FAQs

1. Are we allowed to bring dogs?

No, sorry.  As much as we love dogs, we are unable to accept them on site due to our livestock. Registered guide dogs are an exception.

2. Is there a cafe or can I bring a picnic?

We have a takeaway snack kiosk which sells hot/cold drinks, ice creams, toasted paninis, toasted sandwiches, hot dogs, crisps and other snacks.

Picnics are also allowed, with lots of space for blankets.  We ask that you take your rubbish home with you.

3. Is the farm accessible for wheelchairs and buggies?

The farm is accessible, being laid to short grass and gravely paths.  There is a slope in the middle of the farm, but this is managed fine by our customers.  Our toilets have a fully accessible toilet and there is a separate baby changing room.

4. Is there parking?

Yes, we have lots of parking space, free for our customers.

5. Is there a time limit?

No, you arrive at your pre-booked time slot, and then you can stay until we close at 5pm.

6. Do you take card and cash?

Yes, we accept card and cash at the shop and kiosk.  In busier times we may have a 2nd snack kiosk open and this will be cash only.

7. What animals do you have?

We have chickens, turkeys, chicks (or eggs waiting to hatch), golden guernsey goats, anglo nubian goats, pygmy goats, sheep, lambs, alpacas, calves and pigs.

8. Can we buy food for the animals?

We don't sell food for the animals but they are all friendly and love a fuss.  (Please wash your hands when leaving an animal contact area and before eating)
