Yesterday, Team Hasty's went to Suffolk for a day of pumpkin picking, ready to stock our patch back at Hasty's. With tickets to our Premium Pumpkin Experience selling fast, we were tasked with harvesting nearly 2000 pumpkins.
After a few hours of selecting, cutting and carrying, the pumpkins are all boxed and ready for October half term week. There are orange ones, green ones, ghost pumpkins and some very spooky looking additions. The team very much enjoyed rummaging around the giant patch, with Rowan the farm dog even joining in....well, for cuddles and the hope of a bite of Conner's lunch at least.
Today we are all back at Hasty's whilst customers come see the animals and enjoy our play equipment. The staff are now getting everything else ready for the school half term.
